Polarbröd History
The History of Polar started in 1972 by Gosta and Greta Nilsson to produce the worlds first deep frozen sandwich, the polar sandwich, a polar bread with smoked reindeer meat. To be able to produce the sandwich, a rational bakery was started.
The company has been drifted by it's present owners since I984. Among the owners are two daughters to Gösta and Greta, the
husband of one of the daughters and two grandchildren.

Polarbröd always fresh and tasty.
Polarbröd is baked from carefully selected primary products.
The Polar Method® means that the bread is
frozen directly after baking, without adding any preservatives and will then be distributed in an unbroken
frozen chain. In the freezing, the aging of the bread stops which means that the taste and nutritional values
will not change after baking. Since the bread will only be defrosted on the way to the store, you can eat
Polarbröd almost freshly baked.
